The big day is approaching faster and faster, it seems... under 3 months to go! I'm meeting with a florist today, to hopefully sign the contract, and then we'll be all done with planning! My dress is in my closet, centerpieces are done and stored, invitations... well, we still need to work on those, but Chris has been working so much that we haven't had much time! Yay for Winter Break! We're staying in California for Christmas this year- good thing too, with all the amazing weather in Seattle. Adam was supposed to make it out there, but since all the airports are having issues, he's spending Christmas in New York City! Awesome place to get stranded, I have to say- especially since he has his own warm bed, own kitchen, and doesn't have to pay for a hotel every night in a random city somewhere in the US!

The Wedding Party!!!!
One thing I've always disliked about going to weddings (or being in them) is when I don't know who anyone is, why they're in the wedding, how people are connected, everything. Well, since I'm doing it this time, Chris and I decided to do an "interview" with everyone in the wedding party! Yeah, so we didn't actually ask anyone any questions, but that's all right! So without further ado...
Interviews with my bridesmaids!
Name: Lisette Alicandro
Role in the wedding: Maid of Honor
What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: keep me from stressing out with little things
How long have I known this person: since the second grade
Where did we meet? Joyful Sound Choir at West Side Presbyterian Church! Or maybe Sunday School- something like that
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? Spending hours laughing on the phone, or going shopping in downtown Seattle
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: going to Guatemala on a mission trip
What Chris has to say about this person: I like LiLi a lot! She’s great!
Name: Sarah Reynolds
Role in the wedding: Bridesmaid
What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: set me straight when I’m going crazy (Chris literally told her to backhand me if I get out of line!)
How long have I known this person: Since the first day of college freshmen year
Where did we meet? In a Bible class Freshman year (Exodus/Deuteronomy, I think- I just remember that the teacher was hot!)
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? Virgin margaritas at Acapulco and coffee conversations at Starbucks throughout our college experience
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: lived in the same bedroom for 3 years!
What Chris has to say about this person: Everything I know about cooking, I learned from Sarah (or at least, about cooking implements)
Name: Katherine (Kat) Grubb
Role in the wedding: Bridesmaid
What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: keep me laughing throughout the weekend
How long have I known this person: June-ish of 2004
Where did we meet? Onboard one of the Argosy vessels- Kat was a bosun for the Spirit of Seattle, and thus, one of my trainers!
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? Hanging out at Discovery Park after shifts, as well as time at bookclub
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: Kat buying me my very first tequila shot! Life will never be the same… ;)
What Chris has to say about this person: In the brief time that I've spent with her, I can tell she's awesome!
Name: Jennie Waleszonia
Role in the wedding: Bridesmaid
What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: keep an eye on the mayhem, and help me with little things before the big day
How long have I known this person: October of 2006
Where did we meet? Jennie was/is a counselor at Pinacate, where I used to teach- we would e-mail, but it took months before we could actually talk in person to each other
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? Hours upon hours of conversations at various Starbucks in Perris
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: skydiving to celebrate finishing our first year!
What Chris has to say about this person: Jennie is lots of fun, and she keeps JoJo from going crazy.

Role in the wedding: Best Man
What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: be the BEST man (next to Christoph, of course)

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? GABERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: going to the Garlic Festival in Gilmore for my birthday a couple years ago
What JoJo has to say about this person: amazingly sweet and wonderful guy- quite a dancer as well! The best OSO (other significant other) that a girl could ever have!

What I want this person to do for me for the wedding: Make sure everyone is dressed “snazzy”

Where did we meet? Somewhere at La Habra High
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? “No! Shut up! They’ll eat us!”
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: “thunder-thighs!!!!” – ask him for the story
What JoJo has to say about this person: Funny, unpredictable, and has a big heart- really cares about his friends

One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: too many to list… I understand I was the best man at his wedding…

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this person? Zombies!! And dinosaurs… perhaps zombie dinosaurs
One memorable thing that we’ve done together was: getting our first industry jobs at the same time, graduated next to each other at graduation
What JoJo has to say about this person: A movie lover if ever there was one! Watches out for those he cares about- loves to go out and live life to the fullest!
